Mushroom Between Us
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
This game is playable on Mac or Windows with keyboard/mouse or a controller (any Xbox or Playstation-type controller should do).
Help the Mushroom Man shoot needed items to his neighboring planets indicated by the flags they fly. As you successfully deliver items to your neighbors in need, you'll receive items that spruce up your home planet.
This is a short game created for PIGSquad's 9th Birthday Game Jam.

"Q" Make tutorial-graphic appear/disappear
"E" switch between run and shoot mode
"A,S,W,D" run directions in run mode
Mouse to point and Left Click to shoot
"A,D" switch between items being shot <🧻,🍍,🍾> from your crossbow

Install instructions
• Click the download link for your system below.
• You’ll start downloading a .zip file.
• Once downloaded, right click to expand/ extract the file.
for MAC:
if it says: “mushroom_v1.0.0_mac” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer:
• In the Finder, locate the expanded file. *Don’t use Launchpad to do this. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.
• Press the Control key, then click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
• Click Open. (The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it just as you can any registered app.)
• Double click the unzipped folder to start playing!
*Enter to Start
for Windows:
• After extracting, double click the extracted folder then open the fubfolder "mushroom_v1.0.0_windows"
• There should be five items in this folder, select the one that says "Pigsquad-9th-anniversary-jam"
If it says: "Windows protected your PC Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."
• Click "More info"
• "Run anyway"
* Mouse click on Start
